Project iNSPIRE: Scientists
Project iNSPIRE Scienteers are graduate students and post-docs, scientists and engineers. They study at Penn, Drexel, and the University of the Sciences. They work at Children’s Hospital, the Wistar Institute, and the biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies that dot the region. More than half are women. They represent all the racial and ethnic groups in Philadelphia. They are also parents, world travelers, connoisseurs of Philadelphia’s best restaurants, and lifelong Eagles fans. And they are united by a similar mission: to share their experience, knowledge, and skills with students who have had little or no exposure to scientists and technology professionals.
By sharing firsthand knowledge of cutting-edge developments in the sciences, Scienteers captivate, educate and motivate students to become the science innovators and leaders of tomorrow.
Are you interested in joining the nearly 100 other professionals who have made this commitment? Whether you can spare a few hours a week or a few hours a year, you can make a difference. Become a Scienteer.
