Become a Scienteer

Your experience – their future.  As a professional working in a scientific, engineering or technical field, you can inspire a new generation of students.  Whether you can spare a few hours a week or a few hours a year, you can make a difference in a student’s future.

Our nearly 100 science and technology volunteers – “Scienteers” – come from broad backgrounds and an even broader range of specializations.  We provide you with the training, support, and resources you need to work effectively with our students and teachers.

Be an in-class presenter, participate in a career day, mentor a student for a science fair, or help us with curriculum development.  We let you know what opportunities are available.  You decide how to devote your time. 

And at the same time, we offer you the opportunity to meet and mingle with other people who share your interests at our Scienteer events and trainings...and Margarita Fridays.
